This was the five minute custard I was looking for!!!
I used dark brown sugar and accidentally put 50g of cornflour so added a dash more milk. Also used 20g of butter. Was delicious! The extra cornflour was fine for a thicker custard... 30 would be good! Will however reduce the sugar to half next time 👍🏽👏🏽

  • I just made it again, this

    Submitted by Flaegel on 6. September 2014 - 20:42.

I just made it again, this time exactly following the recipe but with 400g milk. It was still thick but more of a pouring custard. I'll stick with the 400g from now on. It's got a lovely taste and only takes 6 minutes!

    Submitted by Flaegel on 2. September 2014 - 21:21.

Absolutely delicious - easy as anything to make this. Note that the recipe is for 2 portions and it's just the right amount for 2 (I didn't note that and had to split it between 4 - won't make that mistake again  Big Smile )
