Cacao mint smoothie

  • 40 grams Cashews
  • 20 grams chia seeds
  • 20 grams pumpkin seeds/pepitas or hemp seeds
  • 3-4 medjool dates, pitted
  • 150 grams frozen pear
  • 200 grams ice cube
  • 1 leaf kale, raw
  • 3 tablespoon mint leaves
  • 2 drops essential oil of peppermint
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 400 grams water
  • 20 grams coconut cream
  • 25 grams cacao nibs

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Grind up the cashews, chia seeds, pepitas or hemp seeds and dates for 10 sec on speed 9

    (you can leave the dates out if you prefer).

     

    2. Add the ice cubes and frozen pear and blend for 20 sec, speed 9

     

    3. Add the kale, mint, peppermint oil, avocado, water & coconut cream and blend on speed 9 for about 1 minute, or until creamy and smooth. Scrape down sides of bowl and blend for 30 sec more on speed 9.

     

    4. Add the cacao nibs and blend on speed 9 for about 5 sec

     

    5. Sprinkle with extra cacao nibs to serve.
