If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Place sugar into mixing bowl and mill the sugar 6 sec/speed 10
Add lemons, 500 g of the water into mixing bowl and process, 6 sec/speed 6.
Add remaining 500 g water and process, 6 sec/speed 6. Insert simmering basket, hold it in place with spatula and strain lemonade into a jug and serve immediately or chill in fridge.

Tip
Use smaller lemons with smooth shiny peel, as they are juicier and have less white pith.
For sweeter or tarter lemonade, adjust sugar to taste.
Be sure to use unwaxed (preferably organic) lemons for this recipe.
