Huckle My Buff winter beer cocktail

Ingredients

2 portion(s)

Cocktail

  • 1 egg
  • 20 grams brown sugar
  • 35 mls of VSOP cognac
  • 30 mls of ginger liqueur (or ginger juice)
  • 180 grams Porter-style beer

Recipe's preparation

  1. Crack whole egg and brown sugar into bowl.  30 seconds, sp 4

  2. Add all other ingredients.  3 min, sp 4, 60 deg C

  3. While cocktail is heating up to 60 C - add some boiled water to 2 mugs to heat them up.  Tip out water after a minute and dry.

  4. Pour half of the cocktail into each mug.  Optional sprinkle of a little nutmeg over the top.

Tip

This is a great winter drink tmrc_emoticons.) An alternative to mulled wine.  The ginger liqueur is a bit expensive (I had to go to Dan Muphy's for it), but you can use VSOP Brandy instead of Cognac as it is a bit cheaper.
