  For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

  If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

Homemade Lemonade

1.Squeeze lemons using a juicer
2.Strain pulp away using a sieve
3.Measure 2 cups worth of lemon juice
4.Place to the side
5.Place water and sugar in a saucepan on medium heat stirring regularly till crystals are fully dissolved
6.Add to lemon juice and stir
7.Taste for flavour if to sweet add a tablespoon of water
8.Refrigerator for 4 hours.
9.Enjoy
