  • 1 --- Lemongrass stalk, Include leaves if possible. If no leaves, use 2 stalks
  • 1 litre water

Recipe's preparation

  1. Flatten (squash) lemongrass stalk and chop into long pieces. Add to bowl

     

    Add 1L of water. Cook 20 min / Counter-clockwise operation / 100 degress celcius / sp 2. MC on

     

  2. Strain (can use basket) as you pour into a jug or mugs. Put remainder in fridge to enjoy cold. 

     

  3. If you like it sweeter, add some maple syrup in the last couple of minutes of cooking or directly to your cup. 

    -> It's also very nice with ginger. Just slice up a 2cm piece and add at step 2.

    Made this tea yesterday using fresh lemongrass from my garden. It was delicious. Next time ill try adding a bit of fresh ginger as well.
