If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
1. Place drained soya bean and 500g water into TM bowl. Cook 6 mins/90C/"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 1-2 (minimum 2 mins of cooking to prevent bitter and beany taste)
2. Blend 1 min/speed 8 until smooth.
3. Add remaining water, pandan leaves, sugar to TM bowl.
4. Boil 6 mins/100C/speed 2-3. (Do not leave TM during last 2 minutes of cooking to prevent over boiling. Should the mixture start to boil over, stop the TM for few seconds and restart again. You need to complete the cooking process)
5. Stain well with fine seive. Serve hot or cold.

Tip
This is meant to be drunk as a beverage but can also be used on cereal or as a milk substitute.
If used as a milk subsitute you may prefer not to add pandan leaves and sugar.
