      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Makes approximately 1 litre concentrate
  1. Squeeze juice from 2 lemons and discard.
    Slice 3 lemons and add to bowl (if using non organic peel first)
    Add 700g water, 7 mins, 100 deg, sp 1
    Add 500g sugar and dissolve 2 mins, 100 deg, sp 1
    Add 6 black tea bags and 2-4 stalks fresh mint, 5 mins, 98 degree, rev 1
    Fill into clean bottles. Use in water like cordial. Lasts in fridge approximately 6 months, if it does 😊

    To make tea, use 1 parts concentrate to 3 parts water ratio.
