Warm Pear & Ginger Smoothie

  • 250 grams Milk, Almond or other
  • 1 Pear, Cored & quartered (see tips)
  • 2 tablespoon almond butter
  • 10-15 grams ginger, Approx a 1-2" chunk
  • 1 teaspoon Maple syrup, Optional to taste

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to bowl, blend 20 seconds/speed 9

  2. 3 mins, 50 degrees, speed 4

recipe easily doubles to make 2. can quadruple to make 4

easy to prep the night before and reheat in the morning

depending on how ripe the pear is, it may not be necessary to core the pear

Powder ginger can be substituted if you dont have fresh on hand.

    This was nice for something different, but I dont think it will become part of our regular menu. I really enjoyed the fresh ginger flavour so will probably adapt this into a porridge recipe.
