Tip

You can season the Salmon with what you like, i.e.: lemon, line, salt, pepper, rosemary etc!

If you want potatoes too, place 100 - 200grams of peeled and chopped potatoes to the basket and insert to cook at the same time.

Also adjust cooking time to how you like your salmon.

Cook for 15 mins if for one serve...

I love this dish and on nights when I'm home along I chuck it all in and have a quick shower, dress with lemon or lime juice and salt and YUM!

A regular quick healthy dinner in our house. Depending on the thickness of the salmon, sometimes I take it out a couple minutes before the veggies and sometimes it needs a couple minutes extra, but easy to adjust to do this.

So simple and quick. The kids and I have this when hubby is away as he's not keen on fish!  I steamed some rice in the basket while the veges and salmon cooked in the varoma. Perfect. Thank you for sharing.

  • Everything cooked in 15

    Submitted by Faulknermara on 25. March 2016 - 19:02.

Everything cooked in 15 minutes. I only had one piece of salmon, so I decided to chop potatoes a bit smaller so all was cooked at the same time. So easy and cooked well. I will put baking paper under salmon next time and put my favourite marinade on. Will defiantly be using this recipe regular.

This was great.  I squeezed lemon juice and pepper on salmon prior to cooking.  I cooked the potatoes and salmon for 15 minutes then I added cauliflower, brocolli, carrot and snow peas to the top of the varoma and cooked for the last 5 minutes - yum.

    Submitted by Senihisa on 17. December 2014 - 09:20.

One to go into my faves. Quick and easy. I slipped the skin off the salmon, salted & fried it up quickly in the pan so I could still enjoy crispy skin. Mmmmm! I placed some rosemary, lime & parsley in with the salmon which also gave the vege a lovely flavour.

  • This has become a regular

    Submitted by Willow55 on 7. February 2014 - 21:45.

This has become a regular dish in our house. Sometimes with the potatoes and sometimes without. I put wet baking paper under my salmon to stop it dripping through to the potatoes. Such an easy dish. Thanks for posting.

I'm new to Thermomix and am keen to try this recipe. However, I'm going to be ambitious and cook it for 4 people. I guess I should increase the cooking time  - by how much do you think?? I was thinking by about 10 minutes since I'm doubling the recipe.

    Thanks

    Submitted by KathyRboub on 26. June 2012 - 18:25.

tmrc_emoticons.) this was absolutely fantastic..... I am only newto the thermomix and was the first time I used the varoma and was a little scared, but turned out great. A whole dinner and only using one appliance!!

Can I ask a question, could you swap the positioning of the fish and veggies?? The bottom bit of the Verona would hold more veggies??

    Thanks for the recipe..
