If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- 1. Grate cheese speed 7 for 5 seconds. Set aside.
2. Grate carrot speed 6 for 5 seconds. Set aside.
3. Add onion and garlic and chop speed 7 for 5 second. - 1. Add butter and saute 2 mins, 100C, speed 2.
2. Add milk, eggs and flour and mix speed 4 for 20 seconds.
3. Add drained and de-boned salmon, cheese and carrot and mix speed 4 for 10 seconds.
4. Pour into quiche dish and bake for 45 mins in a moderate oven (180C).

Tip
I grate the carrot finely to hide from the kids. Recipe works just as well with coursely grated carrot.
Feel free to add any other chopped/grated veg you like. This recipe is great for using up veg.
