Could anyone please tell me, why you would let the food cool before you sprinkle on the cheese prior to baking?

Delicious! However this needs to be left in the oven a lot longer than indicated in the recipe. After cooking for the recommended time and heat, we turned it up to 180 degrees and cooked it for another 20 minutes. Heaps left over and just as good if not better the next day.

This didn't cook at all!  My fish was still cold after 20 mins. Then I read one of the comments saying you'd have to put the heat up to varoma.  Once I did that, it worked out perfectly.  Not sure when I was supposed to add the onion either!

I don't know how this can cook on 90c, mine didn't even heat up! Had to increase to varoma. Maybe I missed something fundamental here!

I made this tonight for dinner and was most enjoyable.

I did tweak my white sauce though by adding 3 cheeses and a bit of mustard to the sauce.

    Heaps of leftovers.

Tried this tonight. It was a very simple dish to make and so full of flavour.. A great alternative to cooking with fish. Thanks
