- 4-500 g chicken, pieces – thighs are better than breast - cut into ‘bite sized pieces’
- 1 tomato, – quartered
- Coconut milk – 1 x 400 ml tin – or more depending on taste
- ¾ tablespoons salt
- 1 tablespoondark sugar
- REMPAH:
- ½ tsppeeled fresh ginger + 12 shallots (or 2 onions quartered) 2 tsp turmeric
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 2 tbsp chilli (sambal olek)
- ½ tsp cumin
- 5 tablespoons oil

Recipe's preparation
- Put shallots (or onions) and ginger into
the TM bowl - Chop for 5 seconds @ Speed 7
- Add oil and spices – Cook at Varomatemperature for 5 minutes @ speed 1
- Add half a tin of coconut milk – Cook at 100 degrees for 2 minutes @ Speed 1
- Add remaining milk tomato, chicken, sugar
and salt - Cook REVERSE
for 15 minutes 90 degrees, Speed soft until chicken is tender.

Tip
Add approx 200g water
or chicken stock for a thinner, less creamy, curry.
Serve with rice and sambals of your choice
Also wonderful for
prawns or fish curry – add meat around 8 minutes or so before the sauce has
finished cooking – but play with the timing.

This recipe rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!! Super easy and absolutely delicious. I even cooked it for dinner guests and served garnished with toasted slithered almonds and coriander. Thanks KarenT.

I can't see the spices in recipe-did I miss them? Curries in the TMX are fantastic. So is Naan Bread.
