Paleo Chicken Rissoles

  • 500 g chicken mince
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon dried onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/3 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 Cup Coconut oil
  • salt & pepper, to taste

Recipe's preparation

    Paleo Chicken Nuggets
  1. Pre heat oven 180 degrees and prepared a lined oven tray

  2. Place 1/4 cup almond flour. coconut and salt and pepper into TM bowl and combine 3sec/counter-clockwise operation/speed 3
    Set aside

  3. Place chicken, 1/3 cup almond flour, onion powder, garlic, paprika, sea salt, pepper, and egg yolk
    combine 10sec/counter-clockwise operation/speed 3

  4. In a pan melt coconut oil on a medium heat

  5. Take 2 tablespoons worth of the chicken mixture and roll into a ball then coat with the coconut and almond mixture. Repeat until mixture is used. Cook in small batches 3 - 4mins each side. Transfers onto lined oven tray and place in oven for 5mins (or until chicken is cooked through)

    Mix response- I thought these were great but my kids were not fans. I would probably call them more of a meatball though than nuggets
