For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- 1 serving dish to place grated ingredients in.
- 200 grams carrots. Grate 5 seconds, Speed 5. Transfer into serving bowl.
- 200 grams cabbage. Grate 5 seconds, Speed 5 with assistance of spatula. Transfer into serving bowl.
- 100 grams cheese. Grate 10 seconds, Speed 5. Transfer into serving bowl.
- 1 red apple. Grate 5 seconds, Speed 5. Transfer into serving bowl.
- Weigh 50 grams sultanas and add to serving bowl. Combine all ingredients in serving bowl.
