      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pour marinade over diced chicken thighs and allow to sit (overnight is best)

    Add chunks of cauliflower to bowl and chop speed 4 for 15-20 seconds, add to bottom half of varoma dish

    Fill to 0.5l mark with water, add simmering basket with mixed vegetables, put on lid and varoma into position

    Add marinated chicken to top tray of varoma and spread out

    Set timer for 23mins, varoma temp, speed 2

Tip

You can use fresh vegetables as opposed to frozen, but if you have veg that only takes a few minutes (broccoli) add it in the last few minutes only so it isnt too soggy
