Thai - flavoured chicken, Quick and Easy

Ingredients

Simple and quick main meal

  • 750 g Lean chicken mince
  • 1 bunch coriander
  • 1 --- red onion (Spanish)
  • 20 g olive oil
  • 80 g Sweet chilli sauce
  • 20 g fish sauce
  • 20 g Lemon juice (approx. 1/2 a lemon)
  • 20 g brown sugar
  • Steamed rice to serve

Recipe's preparation

  1. Ingredients

  2. Cut 5cm from roots of coriander, wash roots and add to TM bowl.  Chop 3 sec / speed 4 then set aside.

  3. Add red onion to TM bowl, chop 4 sec / speed 5 - 6 scrape down sides of bowl.  Add oil saute 3 min / varoma / speed 1.

  4. Add chicken mince and cook 10 minutes / 100 degrees / Counter-clockwise operation / speed 1.  

    TIP - I like to stop @ 4 minutes and scrape down the bowl making sure their is no mince under the blades with a spatula.

  5. To the TM bowl add coriander roots, sweet chili sauce, fish sauce, lemon juice and brown sugar.  Cook 5 mintes/ 100 degrees / Counter-clockwise operation / speed 1 with the TM basket in place of the MC.

  6. Add coriander leaves to TM bowl and mix 10 seconds / Counter-clockwise operation / speed 2 and it is ready to serve with coriander leaves and red chili spinkled on top to taste and steamed rice on the side.

  7. All ingredients can be adjusted to taste

Tip

Serve with rice of your choice cooked before Thai chicken dish and kept warm in Thermo server.

  • I'm wondering if the mince

    I'm wondering if the mince becomes mushy? or does it kind of hold itself together a little? I havent cooked mince in the bowl yet.
