      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Cook rice as per thermomix directions. Add 15 minutes for brown rice. Once cooked, remove and place in thermoserver.
  2. Clean and dry bowl. Toast pine nuts 100 degrees Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting for 2 mins. Once cooked, transfer to bowl and set aside.
  3. Add garlic and ginger to bowl. Blitz for 3 seconds speed 5.
  4. Scrap down the sides. Add oil. Cook 1 min speed 1 temp 100. Remove and place in varoma.
  5. Add water to bowl, cook frozen vegetables in varoma for 12-15 mins until cooked.
  6. Stir vegetables, toasted pine nuts and soy sauce to thermoserver.
