Blue Vein and Mushroom Pasta Sauce

  • 1 clove garlic, Large
  • 1 onion, (120g)
  • 10 gram Butter, (or nuttlex)
  • 20 gram extra virgin olive oil
  • 200 gram mushrooms
  • 200 gram blue cheese
  • 1 can coconut cream

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. - Place Garlic in Bowl3 seconds/speed 5Scrape down bowl

    - Qaurter Onion and place in bowl5 seconds/speed 5

    - Add Butter and Extra Virgin Olive Oil5 minutes/100/speed 1

    - Add Mushrooms3 minutes/100/speed 1

    - Add Cheese1 minute/100/speed 1

    - Salt to taste

    - With a spoon add the top layer of cream from can of Coconut Cream (should be approx 1/3 of the can)10 second/speed 1

     

    SERVE WITH YOUR CHOICE OF PASTA AND ENJOY!

    Quite nice sauce which I had with pasta and my husband had as a sauce with steak.  Easy to make.  I thought it needed a little bit more flavouring so I'll add a bit more salt & pepper next time.  Thank you for the recipe.
