Chilli bacon and tomato pasta sauce
- 1 onion, Peeled and halved
- 2-4 garlic cloves, Peeled
- 1-4 Birds eye chilli's, Deseeded (the little ones)
- 30 g Butter
- 30 g olive oil
- 4-6 bacon rashes, Diced to desired size
- 100 g white wine
- 1x400 tin g diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon vegatable stock paste
- 100 g thickened cream
- 1 pasta, desired amount
- Parmesan cheese, to serve

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Add onion, garlic, chilli's to the bowl chop 3secs sp7
Scrape down bowl add butter, oil and bacon cook 10mins 100C sp1"Counter-clockwise operation"
Add wine cook 5mins 100c sp1"Counter-clockwise operation"
Add tomatoes, vegetable stock paste, plain flour if using, and cream cook 10mins 100c sp1"Counter-clockwise operation" mc off simmering basket on
Either add sauce to a thermoserver while cooking pasta in your thermomix or cook in saucepan while sause is cooking in thermomix.
It's nice with parmesan cheese and crusty bread.

Tip
This can be made in both the tm31 and the TM5. I add the plain flour because it's a bit runny otherwise but still very nice. Could be made with zoodles (steamed in the varoma) if you want to be pasta free. Omit the bacon to make a pizza sauce. Add prawns for the last few mins if you would like seafood pasta. Also nice with diced chicken.
