Delicious, I added half the parmesan to the dish as it was resting to thicken, I also added 1 teaspoon of cornflour mixed with some water toward the end to thicken it.

The kids didn't even know there were sundried tomatoes in it, winning!!!

Tasty dish and easy to make. Definitely only need half the cream - I added 2 eggs and a little cornflour to thicken it up. Next time I would exclude butter as well. Even more yummy the next day as leftovers :-)

Very tasty - I adapted it for my baby by adding lots of vegetables (blitzed up so they became part of the sauce), halved the cream (thanks reviewers!) and excluded the wine and butter - it was still delicious!!! Baby and mum and dad all loved it!!!

Delicious. ! I used half the cream and added cornflour (thank you, reviewers) and instead of chicken I used a little pepperoni which I diced up with the sun dried tomatoes. Used dried instead of fresh basil and came out beautiful. Served with spiral pasta and cracked pepper. Toddler loved it. Next time I might add some broccoli so it's not completely unhealthy! thanks for posting.

  • The flavour of this recipe

    Submitted by jpfridd on 24. July 2013 - 21:23.

The flavour of this recipe was really nice. I think that about half of the cream is ample and next time I make it I think I will try adding a few pinenuts and baby spinach leaves.

Submitted by Sweetie pie on 13. April 2012 - 15:00.

:) Delicious. I used chicken thighs which are always my favourite. There was a lot of sauce so I will probably use more chicken next time. But it was an absolute winner. Thanks!

  • Really nice recipe - I didn't

    Submitted by korrick on 15. October 2011 - 19:36.

Really nice recipe - I didn't have enough cream so substituted 100ml water and 2 stock cubes and used light cream. Also substituted coriander for basil. The sauce was light and not too rich. Very much a winner in our house.

:)  This recipe is a winner! A great simple standby recipe for when the pantry is getting low. I used dried basil and parsley and it tasted great. All the family loved it, and leftovers tasted great the next day for lunch too.
