  • It is a very basic dish as I

It is a very basic dish as I have very boring eaters...my boys are very plain but they  love this dish and i make it as much as I can so they will eat. Without them knowing I always change it and add carrots, zucchini and capsicum to the sauce and always change the measurements of the pasta and sauce as I go.it's never the same.

Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy it but twigging a recipe to the way you like it- it's what THERMOMIX is all about..

I followed this one to the letter pretty much, and although it was definitely not a flop, I would also not be doing it again...sorry....It was bland, there was way too much pasta and not enough meat/sauce. I think if I'd put tasty cheese as opposed to mozzarella it may have improved the taste a little. It also seemed to take FOREVER to cook! Would have been easier and quicker to do this on the stove unfortunately! Perhaps for someone with older fashioned taste buds this would be ok, but I like a lot more flavours to enjoy. In sying that though, my kids (9yo and 6yo) ate it without complaining (apart from the cheese!) and that is always a bonus with me!!! Sorry to disappoint....

  • Absolutely loved this recipe,

Absolutely loved this recipe, the only changes I made were I cut the oil down to 1 tablespoon, and the cheese I changed to 50% reduced fat cheese, to make it "weight watcher" friendly!  And it made so much, my daughter and I will get 3 meals out of it, at least!  I had some homemade tomato sauce in the freezer (tomatoes used from my garden), and with a packet of pasta costing under $1.00, it was such an economical meal!
