Recipe's preparation
Add macaroni, water and milk to TM bowl. Cook for 10 mins, temp 90, reverse speed 1.
Add 30gm cheese. Cook for 2mins, temp 90, reverse speed 1.

Love this recipe. I have made it with 5x the ingredients to make enough for the family. I have also made it and put it in a dish, covered with cheese and baked in the oven until the cheese on top browns up and I have also used this as a guide to cook the pasta making a creamy carbonara version of the BCB spaghetti carbonara recipe.

Made this as a side dish tonight and it was so easy and tastes good too! Personally i think it needs a bit of salt. Will definitely make again for those quick dinners.

Great recipe, I nearly double
Great recipe, I nearly double the cheese and use 1:1 tasty cheese and parmesan combo. I also just throw all the ingredients in at the start and find it makes a smoother creamier sauce (like the packet mix) rather than waiting until the end to add the cheese

Loved this quick and easy recipe, however for my tastes I like a lot of sauce so I might double the sauce recipe and see how it turns out, my 21month old daughter loved it with peas and cherry tomatoes, such a handy recipe to whip up when dinner does not suit children!

This is one of my 'go to' meals when in a hurry. My kids love it. I also put in sweet potato, bacon and onion first, chop it up then sauté for 4 mins, then follow the recipe. It gives it that mac n cheese look about it while getting some veges in at the same time!!!

Thanks for the recipe! I only had ricotta cheese so used that. I also added a tin of tuna with the cheese. I gave half to my 3 year old, and the rest I left in the TM and processed on speed 5 (no reverse) for 10 seconds and gave it to my 8 month old.

My daughter loved this! I got my Thermomix on Friday and this was the 2nd thing we made together as soon as she got home from school. She is 7 and it was so easy and I was so happy that it wasn't out of a packet, as I usually make for her. This wil definitely be a regular for her dinner, maybe will add bacon next time.

I made this using gluten free spiral noodles. I think I would add 2 minutes to the cook time, but beyond that my kids loved this recipe. Definitely a keeper.

Just tried this scaled up x4 and it works great. 400g pasta 400g full cream milk 400g boiling water.
I increased the speed to
"Counter-clockwise operation" 3 for the first three minutes of cooking time. This helped to ensure all the pasta got submerged when the bowl was quite full, otherwise the top layer of pasta may have cooked slower.

This recipe was a hit with my kids although I found that I needed to add a little Himalayan crystal salt. We used to have boxes of processed macaroni and cheese in the pantry and I am so happy that they are loving the preservative-free Thermomix recipe. It's easy to whip up for hungry kids after school when a piece of fruit isn't enough. I tripled the recipe so that we had left-overs for the school lunch-boxes. My daughter said she would like to try it with crispy bacon on top.
