      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Cook pasta as per recipe on BCB. Transfer to Thermoservers to keep warm.
    2. Rinse and dry mixing bowl.
    3. Add cheeses to mixing bowl and grate 5 secs/speed 8.
    4. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
    5. Add remaining sauce ingredients and cook 8 mins/90°C/speed 3.
    6. Add cheeses and mix10 secs/speed 5.
    7. Add sauce to the macaroni and gently stir until combined.

    Family said it tasted good but i found it very thick. That may have been because i had the MC off for a few mins, not sure. Next time i will keep the MC on, maybe add a bit more milk or less flour and less mozzarella. It thickens ALOT on standong so be mindful of that.
