Pasta

  • 250g GF Pasta (Small)
  • Large pot of water

Sauce

  • 100 grams Light Tasty/ Cheddar Cheese
  • 30 grams Paramesan Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 80 g brown onion
  • 1 tbsp margarine light
  • 200 grams bacon, diced
  • 250 grams Lite milk
  • 1 tbsp mustard, seeded
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 to taste salt
  • 1 to taste pepper
  • 1 heaped tbsp cornflour
  • sour cream, To Taste

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pasta

    Step 1.
    Bring to boil a Large Pot of Water adding GFPasta to cook.

    Sauce

    Step2.
    Place Light Tasty/ Cheddar Cheese & Parmesan Cheese into TM Bowl & grate 3 sec, speed 8. Set aside in a seperate bowl.

    Step 3. Place Garlic & Onion in TM Bowl & chop 3 sec, speed 7. Scrape down sides of the bowl, add Margarine and sauté 2 mins, Varoma,Reverse, Speed 1.

    Step 4. Place diced Bacon in the the TM Bowl and saute 2 mins, Varoma, Reverse, Speed 1. Scrape down sides of the bowl.

    Step 5. Add the following ingrediants set aside Cheeses, Lite Milk, Mustard, Mayonnaise, Salt & Pepper & cook 7 mins, 90°C, Reverse, Speed 1.

    Step 6. Add the Cornflour to the bowl to thicken the mixture. Then cook for an additional 2 mins, 90°C,Reverse, speed 1.

    Step 7. Pour sauce over the pasta and stir through. Serve Immediately.

    Note: You may like to add a dollop of Sour Cream and/ or Salt & Pepper to taste.
    You may like to add some fresh peas, carrot corn for some vegetables.
