Marinara Risotto
- 1 brown onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 40g olive oil
- 400g can Diced Tomatoes (400g), x 2
- 10 - 20 leaves Basil - chopped
- 125g white cooking wine
- 2 level tablespoon TM vegie stock concentrate
- 250g Water.
- 300g Arborio rice.
- 500g Prawns or Marinara Mix
- Grated Parmesan Cheese, Optional

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- 1. Place onion, cut in half and garlic in TM Bowl. Chop 5 seconds on Speed 7
2. Add 40 g Olive Oil, Saute 2 mins 100 deg on Speed 1
3. Add 2 x 400g tinned tomatoes, basil, Wine, Vegie stock, water & Rice
4. Cook 12 mins at 100 deg on Reverse 2 - replace measuring cup with simmering basket when it starts to boil to eliminate splatter.
5. Add Prawns/Marinara mix and cook a further 5 mins, 100 deg on Reverse 1
6. Place in Thermoserver for 15 - 30 Mins
7. Serve, add Parmesan Cheese if you wish

Tip
I couldn't get fresh Basil as it was out of season but bought the packet of the Gourmet garden fresh lightly dried basil from Woolworths
