If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Add garlic, onion and carrot and grate 3 SEC - SPD 7
- Add oil, saute 4 MIN - 100 DEG - SPD 1 - MC OFF
- Add herbs & mince to TMX bowl. Cook 5 MIN - VAROMA - "Counter-clockwise operation" - "Gentle stir setting"
- Add tomato paste & red wine. Cook 10 MIN - 100 DEG - "Counter-clockwise operation" - SPD 1 - MC OFF
- Add stock, Worcestershire sauce & diced tomatoes. Cook 15 MIN - VAROMA - "Counter-clockwise operation" - "Gentle stir setting" - MC OFF
- Finally add milk & cook for 1 MIN - VAROMA - "Counter-clockwise operation" - "Gentle stir setting"
Serve on bed of pasta and top with grated cheddar cheese!
If you're having garlic bread, put it in the oven now! This is my attempt at a Gordon Ramsay recipe, turned Thermomix! :-)
