PERFECT SUSHI RICE

Ingredients

10 portion(s)

Sushi Rice

  • 400 grams Sushi Rice
  • 1 litre water
  • splash of sushi seasoning

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place TM steaming basket into TM bowl.

    Weigh rice into basket.

    Add water to 1 litre mark and cook for 18 minutes, Varoma, speed 4.

    Once cooked, remove simmering basket and transfer rice into a large dish that you can spread the rice out to cool.  Add a splash of sushi seasoning (or homemade seasoning if preferred) and stir through the rice.  Allow to cool.  Use as needed.

Tip

This amount of rice makes enough for 10 rolls of sushi, depending on how much rice you use for each roll.

    Hi Meagen,

    sorry for the late reply, the rice will last no longer than a couple of days in the fridge as it will go hard. You can definitely halve the recipe and reduce cooking time by 20% tmrc_emoticons.)
