- 200 g pork tenderloin, cut into large cubes
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 brown onion, cut into quarters
- 20 g olive oil
- 150 g rice
- 400 g tin of tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Vegetable stock paste
- 350 g water
- 10 leaves basil, fresh
- 1 tsp Oregano, dried
- dried peas
- Salt and pepper, to taste

TM 5Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
Combine tomato paste, worcestershire sauce and pork pieces in a bowl and allow to marinade while you chop and saute the onion.
Place onion in Thermomix mixing bowl. Chop 2 sec / sp 7.
Scrape down sides. Add oil, then saute 3 mins / 100 deg / sp 1.
Insert butterfly. Add pork and any leftover marinade to the mixing bowl. Cook 3 mins / 100 deg / rev / slowest speed.
Add rice first, then cover with tomato and water, stock paste and herbs. Cook 14 mins / 100 deg / rev / sp1. MC on.
Check seasoning - add salt and pepper if desired. Add dried peas. Cook 4 mins / 100 deg / rev / sp1. MC on.
Transfer to Thermoserver and allow to sit for a few minutes before serving.
This makes a hearty meal for two, with enough leftover for a lunch the next day.
