      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Peanut Drops
  1. 1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Grease or line 2 baking trays with baking paper and set aside.
    2. Measure in 125 grams of butter and 185 grams caster sugar. Add 1 egg. Mix 5 sec/Speed 6.
    3. Scrap down sides of the mixing bowl with a spatula.
    4. Add 2 heaped teaspoons of cocoa, 280 grams of Self-Raising Flour and 125 grams of peanuts. Combine 10-20 seconds/Dough modeDough setting until dough has come together.
    5. Form 24 small balls, place onto prepared baking trays and gently flatten. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
    6. Remove from oven and allow to cool on tray for 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack. Allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
