Recipe's preparation

3 oil spread (spreadable from fridge)
  1. Mix altogether speed 2 for 10 seconds. Coconut oil must be liquid before starting, put the jar in a bowl of hot water to melt. so it is easier to measure.

  2. Use these small amounts to figure out which oils you prefer then just make up in proportion 1/3 coconut oil to 2/3 other oil.

Tip

Use whichever oils you prefer to get more or less flavour. Extra virgin olive oil can make it too flavoured to spread on bread. The key is to keep proportion of 1/3 coconut oil to 2/3 other oil. I use this instead of butter to spread or use in cooking. Stored in the fridge it remains spreadable. Virgin coconut oil gives a lovely coconutty flavour.

Hi, if you use a deodorised coconut oil it won't have the strong flavour of coconut and will still have the texture when it is in the fridge. Thanks for your feedback.

I found this has a very strong coconut flavour which means not so good for some sandwiches, however I love that it is so healthy and use it whenever I can. The kids however are not big fans unfortunately.
