Ingredients

Mint and apple sauce

  • 4 granny smith apples, approx 600g, cored and diced
  • 60 g water
  • 15 sprigs fresh mint, leaves only
  • 60 g Boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce

Recipe's preparation

    Sauce
  1. Add apples and water to bowl and cook for 15 mins 100 deg speed 1 or until apples are tender.

    In the meantime place mint leaves and boiling water in a separate jug to steep.
  2. Roughly mash for 5 seconds Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" speed 3.
  3. Add the mint mixture, sugar, vinegar and cranberry sauce to bowl and cook for 4 minutes 90 deg Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" speed 1 or until sauce dissolves and the mixture thickens slightly.
  4. Serve warm or cold with roast pork or lamb.
  5. Store in a sterilised jar for up to 1 week.
