      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Spread Cashews on baking tray, bake I oven 150c for 10-15 mins. Take out and allow to cool on tray, repeat bake nuts 150c for 10 mins ( longer you bake darker your butter) allow to cool. 

    add nuts to tm bowl blitz speed 7-9 for 1-2 mins until consistency you like. Store in sealed container.  Longer you blitz more oils released. Consistency runnier that store bought, can be stored in cupboard or fridge.

Tip

Amount of nuts used it a personal preference, can use more than the 500gm, if over 1.5 kg maybe blitz in batches to not overload the blades.
