- 20 g sunflower oil

Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Place cashew nuts on the prepared baking tray and toast for 5-8 minutes (180°C) until light brown. Set aside to cool for 15 minutes. - Place cooled cashew nuts in the mixing bowl and grind for 8 sec/speed 10. Scrape down the sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
Add oil and salt then blend for 30 sec/speed 6 until creamy. Scrape down the sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
Blend again for 30 sec/speed 5.

Tip
Spread on toast or bread, use in smoothies or with yoghurt or muesli.
Toasting the nuts brings more depth of flavour to the cashew butter. The recipe can also be done without this step for an even speedier version.
