Chefs spinach dip for cob loaf
- 1 brown onion
- 30 g Spring vegetable soup mix
- 150 g sour cream
- 227 g Sliced water chestnuts
- 250 g Frozen spinach, Defrost before use and squeeze out excess water
- 450 g Whole egg mayo
- 1 Cob loaf

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- 1. add 1 brown onion cut in half
2. add 227g water chestnuts
3. blitz on speed 6 for 10 seconds
4. add spring vegetable mix
5. add defrosted frozen spinach (squeeze water out and throw in)
6. add whole egg mayo
7. add sour cream
8. Mix on reverse for 20 seconds, speed 5
9. Cut out hole in cob loaf
10. Pour in dip and serve
