- 1 brown onion, halved
- 20 g ginger, sliced into coins
- 500 g Cherries, pitted
- 250 g red wine vinegar
- 100 g brown sugar
- 70 g dried cranberries
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 3 whole cloves

Place onion in your TM bowl 2-3 sec / sp 6
Scrape down and add ginger 3sec / sp 6
Add all other ingredients and cook 8 min / Varoma / / MC on
Cook 15 min / 115 / /MC off. Use your Varoma or the simmer basket to avoid splatter.
Add 5 min cooking time if your Relish is not thick enough
Pour into sterilised and heated jars.
This is absolutely fantastic with any meat, it is a conversion from a recipe by Curtis Stone, found in the Dec 2015 Coles Magazine.
Sorry about the picture, the jars had sealed by the time I thought to take a photo and I didn't want to unseal them. We are having this on Christmas Day and I will update then.
