Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
1. Place the Almonds in the bowl. Mill for 1min at speed 9.
2. Add Salt, Coconut sugar and Macadamia oil. Reduce the speed to 6 and process for 1-2 minutes stopping every 30 secs to scrape down the mixture checking that a paste is forming until the desired consistency is reached.
3. Store in a jar in the fridge.

Tip
Almonds have a lower oil content than other nuts, hence the longer processing time that is needed to turn them into a smooth paste.
You may notice that the machine starts to measure an increasing temperature in the bowl. This is simply caused by the friction created as you process the nuts. This slight warming of the bowl will actually help you achieve a smooth paste.
