Clone of Blackberry and Apple Jam

  • 3 pears, Pealed and 1/4
  • 500 grams Blackberries, I used fresh
  • 40 grams lemon juice, or 1 lemon juiced
  • 250 grams raw suger, Or type of your choosing

Recipe's preparation

  1. Put pears in the TM Bowl and Chop 5 seconds / speed 5

  2. Add remaining ingredients and cook 70 minutes / 100 degrees / Counter-clockwise operation / speed 1

    Placing basket on top of the lid rather than the MC to prevent spitting.

  3. Check to see if the Jam is ready.  If not continue to cook for another 10 minutes / 100 degrees/ Counter-clockwise operation / speed 1


    Continue to repeat this step until Jam is ready

  4. FYI I made this in the previous model thermomix


Accessories you need



To check to see if the Jam is ready place a small dollop on a cold saucer which has been chilled in the freezer.  If the jam skins it is ready if not continue cooking a little longer.

    This was great.  I halved the amount of sugar as I'm trying to cut down and it was really good. The pear is a nice touch. Thanks for sharing.
