      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Great sauce to add to prawns, chicken Kiev, steak. Was so yummy. I did add some cornflour to the sauce and cooked for 16min to get a thicker sauce. Delish!

Submitted by Mixie Von Cook on 1. July 2016 - 18:29.

Had to use sour cream so cooked for 12 minutes as suggested and it was nice and thick. Has a little tang, I presume from the sour cream. The garlic, wine and butter seemed to almost burn at the beginning so I was worried but the end sauce tastes lovely tmrc_emoticons.-)

Yum! I used chicken stock instead of white wine and cooked for 15mins at the end. It was deliciously garlicy and thick. We had it smothered over chicken rissoles and baked potato.

  • I made this and added prawns

    Submitted by Gurno83 on 8. January 2016 - 20:47.

I made this and added prawns for the last 20 min, putting the blades on Counter-clockwise operation. my butter and wine almost completely evaporated in the second step, even though I accidentally added a little too much of both. Don't think it effected the flavour at all. I also used chives rather than parsley because that's all I had. Even though I cooked the sauce for 20min in the last step it didn't thicken at all. I added three cloves of garlic. Next time I will add 4 and a little bit of corn flour to make it thicker.
