    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    Crunchy Peanut Butter
  1. Closed lid Add Peanuts to thermomix bowl.

    Closed lid Chop for 2 Seconds on speed 9 

    Closed lid remove 1/3 of peanuts set aside for later

    Closed lid Scrape down side of bowl.

    Closed lid Chop for 5 Seconds on speed 9

    Closed lid Scrape down side of bowl.

    Closed lid Chop for 30 Seconds on speed 7 

    Closed lid Scrape down side of bowl.

    Closed lid Chop for 30 Seconds on speed 7 

    Counter-clockwise operationAdd 1/2 - 1tsp of the Coconut Oil and blend on reverse 5 seconds speed 5

    Counter-clockwise operation Add remaining peanuts, blend on reverse 5 seconds speed 5

Tip

For smoother peanut butter do not reserve any peanuts and chop of speed 9 for 15 seconds  then move to the 30/7 processes.

Amount of oil is dependent on your taste. More or less is fine. I prefer coconut oil as it will solidify when its cooler temps or kept in the fridge however is still spreadable.

    I really like this recipe, I changed  the second lot of 30s on sp 7 to 20s. very easy and simple. Thank you for the recipe
