      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Place sesame seeds into TM bowl and dry roast for 8-10 minutes at 100C on speed 1. Mill for 25 seconds on speed 10.

    Scrape down sides of bowl and add sesame oil and puree for a further 10 seconds on speed 9. Scrape down and repeat.

    Keep in sterilised jar in fridge.

By adding fresh herbs, Greek yoghurt and seasoning to tahini you can make an easy dip.

    Just made for hommus, using black sesame seeds. I halved the recipe but still a good amount. I felt it is a little dry but I'm no expert. Will use anyway.
