Recipe's preparation

    Cranberry Sauce
  1. Place all ingredients into mixing bowl and cook for 8 min/100C/speed 2.

    2.  Chop 10 sec/speed 6.

    3.  Serve with Christmas Dinner! Too easy!

    This is a really delicious recipe. I had whole dried cranberries, full of flavour. I added only 1 teaspn of sugar and this was oodles. I did add extra liquid as others had suggested, mostly orange juice. Was a hit with our guest with Xmas turkey.

    SO quick and easy, and I love the fact that, unlike the ones you buy, there is so little sugar. As others have said, it definitely does need more water. I used about 120g, and even then I would class it as cranberry jelly rather than sauce, but that’s the consistency I prefer anyway.

    Love that this recipe is so simple and easy. I made it for Christmas and my whole family - especially my mum - were impressed! I increased the water to 130 mls like Ginny suggested and it was perfect! I'm about to make some more for all the leftovers!

    Crowd pleaser I discovered Christmas morning I had forgotten cranberry sauce but had a tub of dried cranberries, I read what others had said and added juice of one orange and increased liquids, also used 1/2 amount if sugar. Was delicious, won't buy a jar again!

    I can't be sure but in other recipes for cranberry sauce, it suggests no more than 7 days. Hope that helps.
