Spring Onion pancake

  • 300 g plain flour

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Put flour, salt, sugar with 150g hot water (90 degree) into bowl and mix it 10 second/ speed
    2. add 50g water, 20g oil, knead/3 mins.
    4.cover bowl with plastic wrap and rest for 15 mins.
    5.divide dough into 4 balls, make each ball into a pizza shape.
    6. spread chopped spring onion, oil on top of dough and sprinkle with salt. pan fried until golden colour. (or fully cook)

    Question: in step 6, after you've added the spring onions, do you fold the pancakes in half so the spring onion is filling in the centre?
