If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
1. Insert butterfly whisk. Place sweet potatoes, milk and salt into thermomix mixing bowl and cook for 20mins/100degrees/speed 1. Insert MC.
2. Add butter and nutmeg (optional), mash 30secs/speed 3. Insert MC.
3. Serve hot.

We love this recipe. If we don't have 1000g of sweet potato we adjust the quantities of all the ingredients down using a calculator. Yummy food and maths ! Winning! The nutmeg is a great addition. Sometimes I use mixed spice if we only have whole nutmegs i.e. no ground nutmeg or you can grate the whole nutmegs.

Delicious recipe, thank you - I added broccoli pieces and green beans to the Varoma tray while cooking and they cooked well, still a little crunchy.
Delicious. I left out the
