What you need:-
- 4 sprig parsley leaf, fresh
- 1 large onion, (250g approx), cut into quarters
- 50 g Butter
- 400 g sliced mushrooms
- 700 g water
- 200 g Milk
- 50 g plain flour
- 3 heaped teaspoons Chicken stock powder
- 200 g cream
- salt/pepper, to taste

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- 1.
Place a bowl on top of the TM bowl.
Measure the milk and flour into it.
Mix (with a hand whisker) the flour into the milk, till its not lumpy.
Set aside.

Place parsley into mixing bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 7
Transfer into a bowl and set aside.
Clean TM bowl.

Place the onion into the TM bowl. Chop 3 sec/speed 5
Scrape sides down.
Add Butter. 5 min/120°C/speed 1

Add the sliced mushrooms, the water, chicken stock powder, and the reserved milk/flour mixture.
8 min/100°C/"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 1

Add the cream and season with salt and pepper. 2 min/90°C/"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 1
Serve:-
Garnish with the reserved Parsley.
Serve with crusty bread (or buttered toast)
