For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Add onion (quartered) Chop 5 seconds / Sp 5
- Open lid and scrape sides down
- Add 1 TBS olive oil
- Add 250g mushrooms
- Chop 5 seconds / Sp 5
- Open lid, scrape sides down
- Cook 3 min / 100 C / Sp3
- Add 50g Flour
- Cook 2 min/100 C/sp3
- Gradually add 750g stock through lid during the next step
- Cook further 8min/100C/sp3
- Add 1 tsp salt and pinch black pepper
- Blend 10 sec/sp8
- Add 250g milk
- Add 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- Cook further 5min/90C/sp3
