Tip
These are delicious cold. I often make a double batch and freeze them ready for birthday parties or picnics.
I use my mum's homemade tomato sauce in this recipe- it makes all the difference. I have yet to convert it to the Thermo but there is a similar recipe here already although I haven't tried it- //www.recipecommunity.com.au/recipes/aunty-ds-ezi-tomato-sauce/72380
You could also sprinkle some sesame seeds on top before placing in the oven.

Delicious recipe, my whole family enjoyed them! I didn't have any Worcestershire sauce at home when I made them and I added a carrot and a zucchini (I just made sure all excess water was removed). I'll be making these again and again - thank you!
So good. Made a double batch
So good. Made a double batch after reading the comments. They were demolished by 6 hungry people for lunch. Used regular mince and blitzed it until it was fine sausage mince. Will made again soon.

Yum! I used beef mince only
Yum! I used beef mince only for mine, 1T of tomato and woisterchire sauce and 1t mixed herbs. Next time I will add a carrot and zucchini with the potato and onion just for a bit more of a veggie hit. Also used 4 sheets of puff pastry so not to overfill and split the pastry when cooking (which I often do!).
I used normal minced meat.
I used normal minced meat.
Cook them on a rack instead of straight in a solid based pan, because the fat leeches out of the meat and they end up swimming in the juices (making the bottoms soggy). Great otherwise though!!
Delicious sausage rolls
Delicious sausage rolls Mum!
I hid carrot and zucchini in them and used half sausage half beef mince. Will be making a double batch next time as they disappeared quickly.
First time making sausage
First time making sausage rolls and they were a hit. I used BBQ sauce as I didn't have Worcestershire. I'm going to try regular mince next time (as someone suggested) as I'm not a huge fan of the sausage meat.
