- 50 g walnuts/pecans
- 50 g almonds, activated or roasted are great

- 100 g honey, raw is great
- 50 g coconut oil
- 50 g Peanut Butter, Thermie made or shop bought

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Add 55g almonds to Thermie and mill speed 9 for 5 secs. Set aside.
Add all nuts to the Thermie. Chop Speed 5 for 5 secs .
Add remaining ingredients, including the almond meal. "Gentle stir setting" at 100' for 3 minutes.
Line a slice tray with baking paper. Add mix and smooth out. Refrigerate.
When firm slice into 12 muesli bar size pieces.

Tip
These bars do not tolerate heat and will fall apart if heated. Keep in the fridge and remove just prior to eating.
They're great with a breakfast smoothie or as a guilt free evening snack.
Mix it up and add some pepitas or sunflower seeds instead of one of the nuts.
