Chicken and Vegetable Puree

  • 1 --- Sweed, peeled and cubed in 2cm blocks
  • 1 --- onion, white, quartered
  • 3 --- carrots, peeled and cubed in 2cm blocks
  • 3 heaped tablespoons Pureed Apple
  • 1 --- Chicken Stock Cube, or 1tbsp of stock paste
  • 200 g water
  • 100 g chicken, cubed breast pieces or shredded leftover chicken

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place onion, carrots, sweed and pureed apple in mixing bowl.
    Chop 5 seconds, speed 5.
    Scrape down bowl with spatula.
  2. Add stock and cubed chicken then cook 14 min/90C/speed 1
  3. blend 60 seconds, starting at 1 and slowly building up to speed 9.
    Allow to cool then serve warm.
    freeze any leftovers into individual portions

Tip

Puree longer or less if needed.
Vegetables can be changed to whatever is left in your fridge.
Can also use left over shredded chicken.
Add extra apple or substitue for pear to add sweetness
