Roasted Apple, Plum and Vanilla Mash (6 months +)

  • 2 apples, red (large or use 3xsmall)
  • 1 plum, blood, fresh
  • 1/4 level tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tsp water

Recipe's preparation

    Roasted Apple, Plum and Vanilla Mash (6 months +)
  1. Preheat oven to 200c. Line a small oven tray with baking paper.
  2. Peel, decore and quarter apples.
  3. Halve and remove stone from plum.
  4. Place apples and plum on the oven tray close together in the centre. Sprinkle with 3 teaspoons of water.
  5. Roast for 20 minutes or until tender. The fruit should look like this (refer to picture).
  6. Place fruit into TM bowl Closed lid (I used tongs to do this). Add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract into the bowl. Mash for 5 seconds on speed 5.

Tip

You can also puree if you wish.

You can use other stone fruits for this recipe, such as nectarines and peaches.

Freezes well.
